Yoga exercises are very popular nowadays among all types of people. They are used for a large variety of purposes and lately they have been said to have a great impact on growing taller. According to some people, yoga exercises not only help you add up some inches to your height, but they also give these results faster than any other previously known technique.
The best thing about these exercises is their dual action: they help your body center, while also teaching you how to breathe when doing exercises. Breathing is an important factor in growing taller. Proper breathing can help you add few inches to your height, while shallow breathing can prevent you from growing taller.
Another factor which prevents you to grow taller is the gravity pressure. Yoga will reveal to you the positions you have to exercise in order to decompress from the pressure of gravity. In addition to this, the exercises will help your back relax.
There are a lot of yoga exercises which can be of a great help for short people. Here are only two of them:
- Sukahasana. This exercise is both for learning how to breathe more efficiently and for toning your hips and the lower part of your back.
You should start this exercise by sitting on the floor and keep your legs crossed. Put your hands on your knees and make sure that your spine is perfectly straight. Then push your buttocks on the floor and at the same time lower your knees. When you have reached this position, take five deep breaths. While inhaling raise you arms until they are above your head. Then exhale slowly and slowly take your arms down. You should repeat this movement for about five or seven times.
- Trikonasana. This exercise is a little more complex, suitable for advanced levels.
The initial position for this exercise is with your leg 3 feet apart from one another. From this position, you should move your left feet 90 degrees to the left, while the right foot must be moved 45 degrees inwards. Then take a deep breath and while you inhale you raise both arms. When exhaling, turn your head in the direction of your left arm and look at it.
